Maheshwari booti work is a type of weaving in zari/ thread on Maheshwari fabric, which originated in Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh, India in the 18th century. The booti designs are inspired by the stone carvings and detailing at the Maheshwar Fort. Made from the purest threads and colours, Maheshwari cotton silk possesses a unique sheen and amazing drapability. With Katan Silk Thread in warp in Dupatta, the suit comes with a pastel colour top fabric finished with a characteristic Maheshwari woven broad border, contrasting tasselled dupatta and a fine quality bottom. Wear with pride these suits that symbolize a unique blend of tradition, artistry, and weaving.
